3. MEMBERSHIP INFO

The rates for Stratton Mountain Country Club are reasonable: no bond is required, the one-time initiation fee is $4,000.00 and annual dues are $1,725.00 which includes greens fees and use of the tennis facility. Tennis memberships are also available for a lower fee. For 2008 there is a special "Try Me" program available - just contact the Club for details. The new member application procedure is not complicated and typically can be processed quickly.

The Membership Committee is also pleased to announce a new Associate membership category for 2008. Associate Members do not pay initiation fees, and pay dues of $2000. They are entitled to all of the retail discounts provided to full SMCC members and are entitled to play in all golf and tennis SMCC tournaments and to participate in all SMCC social events as full members, on the same basis and at the same rates. Associate Members can reserve tee times up to 5 (not 14) days before. 


                                        
SMCC  Retail Discount Information
- Mulligans and Mulberry Street: 20% Food and Beverage discount (alcoholic beverages not included as restricted by Vermont law). Tell your server that you are a SMCC member.

- Tenderloin’s: 20% Food and Beverage discount (alcoholic beverages not included as restricted by Vermont law). You must show your 2008 SMCC member credit card

- Stratton Pro Shop: 20% Retail discount.

SMCC Credit Card Information
The Member Directory mailing included an update form for credit card information. That form went directly to Stratton and they generated credit cards which are held at the Pro Shop desk.

If you did not fill out this form please stop by the pro shop and request one. . Stratton prefers that members use this card for golf charges, but it isn't required. Some of the retailers who offered discounts to us did require the card for identification purposes.
